Wicked Wellbeing Wellness Retreat

Rest – Nourish – Restore

When did you last take time out just for you?

Between work, the kids, ageing family members and voluntary commitments, it’s hard to find a moment to breathe, let alone exercise, cook a healthy meal, or simply pour a cup of tea and read a book.

You know you can’t keep running like this. You’ve fallen into habits that don’t serve your wellbeing. Not enough exercise. Not enough water. Not enough sleep.

You need a reset.
A fresh start.

A place where you can rest your mind, nourish your body and restore your vitality. Time out to care for yourself, the way you care for those you love.

Introducing The Wicked Wellbeing Retreat.

A two day luxury escape for women in Whananaki, New Zealand

Rest, nourish and restore your body, mind and soul

I’m Wick Nixon, the founder of Wicked Wellbeing.

I’m a dedicated foodie with a passion for showing you how easy it is – and how good it feels – to fuel your body with healthy food.

I’m also a busy working mum of three and I know how hard it can be to take time for yourself.

With the frantic pace of daily life, I truly believe that taking time to nourish your body, mind and soul is not a luxury, it’s essential. I also know that I’m a much more patient and present parent, partner, daughter, friend and business owner when my own cup is full.

So why not gift yourself a little time out? You’ll be amazed how good you can feel after just two nights away to rest, nourish and restore on a Wicked Wellbeing Retreat.

All you have to do is get yourself here and leave the rest to me!

(BONUS: This weekend, you only have to pack bags for one!)

Here's what unfolds on a Wicked Wellbeing Retreat:

The pace of the weekend is entirely up to you.

Go to bed early or stay up late.
Rise with the dawn or sleep til noon.

Bring your book, your knitting, your journal or your hobby and indulge your passions guilt-free.

Take a long bath, bathe in the ocean or sink into the spa beneath the stars.

This is your time, and while there’s plenty to do on a Wicked Wellbeing Retreat, you get to decide how much or how little you join in.

This weekend, we fuel your body well.

We start each day with a nourishing breakfast. Think fresh juices, premium toasted mueslis, coconut yoghurt, fresh smoothies and delicious teas and coffee. All our meals cater for gluten-free and dairy-free requirements, so everyone can relax and enjoy the amazing flavours.

Throughout the retreat, you’ll experience cooking demonstrations and taste an incredible array of delicious healthy foods to ignite your curiosity and commitment to healthy eating.

On Saturday evening, we come together to cook. You’ll team up with your fellow guests to create a dish for the evening’s feast, learning new skills, discovering new flavours and infusing the food with the joy of new friendships. Who knew cooking could be so much fun?

Throughout the weekend, you’ll have options for gentle, restorative or energising movement.

From walks to the beach, to fun and revitalising group fitness classes, you can join in as much or as little as you like.

Take the paddle board for a spin (tides permitting), go for a divine swim, hike up the hill, or do yoga on the deck and rediscover the joy of moving your body in nature, just because.

Plus, the energy of this weekend is really special. The luxurious location, the camaraderie of the group, the energy of coming together in shared commitment to our enhanced wellbeing, will leave you feeling refreshed, revitalised and ready to take on the world again.

You’ll leave the weekend armed with new friends, new knowledge, new recipes, new energy and a renewed commitment to your own health and wellbeing.

The next Wicked Wellbeing Retreat takes place on 31 March–2 April 2023 at Whananaki, 2 ¾ hours north of Auckland.

Spaces are strictly limited to 14 attendees, so secure your spot now!

An inspirational experience! It was the perfect opportunity to reset, do some much-needed reflection, try some new ingredients and dishes I hadn’t tried before, with time for exercise and relaxation too. We’ve done so much in one weekend, and yet it hasn’t felt pressured or busy at any time. Thanks Wick, this has been a much needed turning point.

Claire Sanders

A wonderful weekend that took me out of my comfort zone but I’m so glad it did. Meeting like-minded women, cooking together, exercising/moving together and laughing together. I have reconnected with myself and am leaving with my cup full.

Alison Norton

A revelation in how easy it can be to eat well by breaking it down into manageable tasks. A great weekend away with the right amount of information sharing, downtime, laughs and companionship.
